Global Entrepreneurship

Students explore entrepreneurship in a global setting. This course discusses the challenge of global entrepreneurship and the opportunities. It includes an overview of the main changes and challenges in growing and changing major markets such as the USA, Europe, Latin America and other significant emerging market areas. It will discuss different approaches to global entrepreneurship, the influences of macro forces, such as political, economic and technology trends, and social-cultural issues, as well as opportunity recognition, fundraising, marketing, finance.

 

 

One the main activities of this course will be the development of a business plan for a global business venture. Also, the students will learn how to manage negotiations abroad, and to develop a foreign market entry strategy for a specific product or service using computer simulated negotiation software, which will further develop the students’ business skills.
