International Financial Strategy

General Objective of the Course
The objective of this course is to know the main challenges facing international companies, such as acquisitions, cash flow management, currency hedges, etc.
Additionally, the student should be able to analyze financially these decisions and take the best strategic decisions to maximize the benefit of their shareholders and stakeholders.
Methodology
The course will be developed with the methodology of the case. Several cases were selected from the Harvard Business School Review that cover the main strategic financial decisions within a corporation in its internationalization process.
Students prior to the session should read the cases and perform the specific analysis of each one. As a theoretical framework and for the correct interpretation and solution of the cases, Ross‘s "Corporate Finance" book will be used as a text.
In each session, the programmed cases will be discussed and the fundamental theoretical concepts will be reviewed.
The methodology necessarily involves:
• Attend the course.
• Perform the previous readings and analysis indicated prior to the session.
• Actively participate in class.
