The Psychologyof Competition and Its Implications In International Business Life

The goal of the course is to provide up-to-date in-depth knowledge on competitive processes, the psychology of competition and the psychology of cooperative competition in a hypercompetitive business environment. It also aims to make students understand the psychology of winning and losing and demonstrate adaptive and non-adaptive coping with these competitive results, Students will also learn the cultural differences in relation to competition and this will equip them with skills to function successfully in the competitive international business environment. The course will highlight the differences between constructive and destructive competitive processes and discuss the conditions that promote cooperative, constructive competitive processes.
